About

HELLO!
I'm glad you took the time to read about the author of the blog. My name is Shammi Anand and I'm currently a first-year Computer Science student at the School of Engineering, CUSAT which is in Kochi, Kerala, India.

Before I go on and on, let's just get away with why I started this blog in the first place?
I've been writing personal notes and diaries for a long time but never anything on the internet. I guess the idea of writing on the internet really struck me when I started thinking about applying to colleges. You see, I wanted to go to the US for my undergraduate studies and I thought it'd be great if I could document the entire process. So this blog was meant to document my plans and preparations for my UG application process. I applied to a few universities and got in fewer of them and documented the entire process on it, from preparing for the standardized tests to applying for VISA. Eventually, I didn't go and this blog kind of sat around with really no views at all. So, I started writing tech reviews every once in a while when I felt like it. And this blog has been like that for the past 6 months or so but it is about to change.

About me:

This is me!

As I have already mentioned, I'm Shammi Anand. I'm currently living in Kochi, a small and vibrant metropolitan city in the southernmost part of India. I'm attending college here. I'm a first-year CS student at CUSAT. I love computers and programming them which made me choose CS over other engineering disciplines. I have a lot of hobbies: playing chess, writing, reading, coding and many more.
To be continued; I'll add 5 lines about me after every 1000 views.

Future of the blog:
I'm planning on a complete overhaul of this blog. I'll be more frequent and consistent. All the old blog posts about the college admissions will be archived to provide clarity for the coming content. The content, most important of all, will be mostly focussed on tech, reviews of phones and software, Game of Thrones, chess, and books. These are the things I like to read and write about.

Thanks for reading:
Shammi Anand
